See All ReviewsLet me start by saying that Bawarchi is the only Indian restaurant in the area that has the buffet open. This is was the first time I was able to try their buffet. I tried several weeks ago to bring some interns and the chef was out so they did not have buffet. Overall there were probably about 15 items on the buffet. Signs around the area indicated it was a large buffet. When others in the area are open they have more items. Overall this was average at best. They were out of several items when I arrived and it took about 15 minutes for them to bring out items. I was about ready to leave before they brought out naan which to me is a staple item on an Indian buffet. I tried almost every item on the buffet. They were still out of tandoori chicken when Ieft. A couple of comments about specific items. Pankoor - very salty Chicken Fry - salty Chicken tikka masala - first time I’ve seen the dish made with chicken thighs - Definitely changes the flavor. First time visited I had this dish directly from the kitchen and it was made with chicken breast. Overall I liked the food but it was not spectacular. The staff was friendly and did ask how everything was as I left. I mentioned the saltiness of the food and the cashier said she would mention it to the kitchen. I will give this place another try in a few weeks and see if it is better. If so, I’ll update my review to 4 stars
Go here! There are so many Indian food options around that we ended up here after trying two other more popular ones. 😅 I REALLY wanted good Indian food. The new owner has had the place a bit over a month and right away choose to start a buffet. Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure to experience it that day (we were out LATE). I have read reviews and many say it is great. The food is superb! The tastes are right on point and just spicy enough; the quality of their food is clearly excellent. The owner is also the chef at this time and he came out to see how we liked the food. He is such a kind and peaceful person with a beautiful heart. We were quite hungry and ordered appetizers but the children (ok, me too! 😜) couldn't wait. We asked if they could give us a simple starter. They brought us delicious Naan with oil and garlic! They do have nice beer options and currently soda only. It does look like they are planning to ensure Lassi gets on the drink menu. The atmosphere is lovely and comfortable as well as well designed without being overdone. The staff was polite and timely and the place was very clean and well maintained. They even had a place for ice pops with pistachio flavor and more! Go here. You really will not regret it. The staff and owner are such excellent souls you can feel the peaceful aura. ❤
Nice ambience, very clean place, great food, humble staff. I loved samosas and chilli garlic noodles.
